Meeting Minutes for 10/18/17 meeting at Go! Ice Cream at 6:30pm

  • Treasurer Report:  

 

      1. Total received this year $687.96 from 27.  (was $664.28 From 25 people in Sept). (Was $545.47 from 20 people in September)
      2. 4 people in AR on 10/18/17.  (was 22 members in Accounts Receivable)

 

  • Outreach Report

 

      1. 177 members, which is 4 more since our last meeting. (173). We’ve exchanged 5178 which is  more since our last meeting 5165).
      2. 5 people applied this month. We have 6 applicants in pool.
      3. Texted Naomi about Spanish for this Sat.
      4. We should offer orientations for potential members and those who want to do orientations at the auction.

 

  • MAOTB Monthly Meetings Report:

 

    1. Emerson was in Chicago and didn’t attend.
  1. Carry-over Topic: Fall Auction
    1. Online Sept 20-Oct 20. Live October 21, 2017
    2. Thank you notes will be needed
      1. Thank you so and so, you helped us reach our goal of $$$ with your generous gift of X. We couldn’t do it without you.
    3. Jeff emailed Patricia about nametags.
    4. Shelley will make evaluations and bring them.
    5. Shelley wants us to bring brochures. Jeff will see if he can print at work.
  2. New Topic: Liz Dahl-MacGregor has offered to facilitate another board retreat. Are we interested in doing this?
    1. Discussed. Want to do. Jeff will reach out to Liz DMG.
  3. Carry-Over Topic: For-profit Business Joining
    1. Jessica was working on this a year ago. Jeff reminded us that Eliz said it’s a “bad stick” to have businesses join. So we opted not to pursue this. Businesses can donate and we’ll advertise for them.
  4. Carry-over Topic: 5th Anniversary Party – arrange for the Sr. Ctr soon.  Think about 6/9/18. But that’s Emerson’s 1-year wedding anniversary so need to find a new date and need to pay.
